Dr John A Robinson
Dr. John Robinson, B.D.Sc. (Melbourne); M.S (Illinois) is a registered specialist orthodontist with a distinguished career spanning several decades. After earning his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne, he served as the Dental Registrar at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, for a year. Following this he practised as a general dentist in Melbourne for two years.
Driven by a passion for orthodontics, Dr. Robinson furthered his education and expertise by obtaining a master’s degree in Orthodontics from the University of Illinois in Chicago. In 1988, he returned to Melbourne and established his own successful orthodontic practice in Toorak, where he continues to serve patients with dedication and excellence.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Robinson contributed significantly to the field as a Specialist Orthodontist in the Craniofacial Unit of the Royal Children’s Hospital for fifteen years. In this role, he provided specialised care to children with clefts and other craniofacial anomalies and played a pivotal role in instructing postgraduate orthodontic students.
Outside the realm of orthodontics, Dr. Robinson is a family man, cherishing moments with his three wonderful daughters. His interests extend to sports, particularly tennis, culinary pursuits, and exploring the world through travel during his leisure time.
